FIELD: metallurgical and machine engineering production. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes a driven mandrel, a wire stacker, having a frame, a straightening unit and a tensioning device. The apparatus also has a plate, mounted on the frame of the wire stacker with possibility of adjusting rotation relative to an axis, parallel with a lengthwise axis of the wire, and means for fixing the plate in a predetermined position. The straightening unit and the tensioning device are arranged on the above mentioned plate. Means for fixing the plate in the predetermined position is in the form of a bolt, mounted in the plate, and a rod, mounted in the frame, with possibility of engagement with the bolt.
