FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: device for rotary drilling of blast holes has drill, rod with single-cut helical rib and bit. In this case, single-cut helical rib has end face engageable with supporting area on external surface of bit. Supporting area is formed by cutting helical rib by plane square to working surface of helical rib in point of its coming beyond the rod end. End face forms obtuse angle with external surface of helical rib. Part of rod located in drill chuck is kinematically connected with drill by means of cylindrical straps for transmitting torque from chuck to rod. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
