FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method for storing and leaching of tailings includes formation of tailings layers on impervious base with reducing useful component from lower to upper layer and electrical potential of middle layer higher than that of upper layer and nonequal to potential of lower layer. Middle layer is used as geochemical barrier for sedimentation of useful component leached from upper layer. Then, impervious layer is destroyed and electrochemical dissolving of useful component is effected in middle and lower layers by regulating pH of leaching solution.
