FIELD: sewage treatment. SUBSTANCE: source sewage is electrochemically treated by using a voltaic couple: copper/iron made of chips. Then sewage is directed into a settling tank where sediment is separated from water from the upper part of the settling tank. Water is directed for final cleaning by ultrafiltering in a tangential flow at velocity of 3.0-8.0 m/s at pressure of 3.5-5.5 kg/sq. cm using a membrane with pores 0.05-0.2 microns in size. Sediment produced by ultrafiltering in the amount of 2.5-50 g/l in terms of dry matter is delivered for electrochemical treatment of source sewage. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 tbl
