FIELD: foam suppression. SUBSTANCE: mechanical foam suppressor comprises an intake device, shaft with a frame which carries curved double-bend pipes whose upper horizontal sections are provided with nozzles underneath. The upper horizontal sections of pipes are of a varying section in length. The nozzles are arranged so that their number per unit of length increases in the direction from the shaft to periphery while the cross section of curved double-bend pipes is rectangular or square.
