FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: plunger feeder includes carrier with link and rods. Connected to link from both ends are plunger and reducing gear to which motor is connected. Bodies of reducing gear and motor are fastened to floor or side of working by means of anchors. Used as chute is roadway with steel sheet laid on its floor, and the steel sheet outlet sides are provided with folding apron installed on axle whose ends are inserted into holes of chute sides. Apron is connected with air cylinder through rod. Installed between plunger and reducing gear is protective post with guide frame. Under the action of motor the reducing gear, through rotating disk, sets in motion the carrier together with plunger. Plunger reciprocates in ore mass, pushes it onto car by acting on broken ore at angle of internal friction up to 45 deg. Motor control panel is installed on haulageway at the point of ore loading into car. EFFECT: simplified design and improved performance characteristics of plunger feeder. 7 dwg
