FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: variable displacement hydraulic machine has housing 2 consisting of two parts 3 and 4 installed for displacement relative to each other in radial direction relative to rotor axis by means of plungers 18 and 19 in stator 1 through which rotor shaft 8 with working members 6 is brought out. Mounted on inner surface of parts 3 and 4 of housing 2 is antifriction cover plate with acute angle cut in cross direction made on each of two opposite sides on short axis of housing. As a result, cover plate has two parts 21 and 23, each secured by pins 20 on parts 3 and 4, respectively. If one of parts 3 or 4, or both parts are moved relative to stator and rotor, spaces are formed between rotor and parts 3 and 4, either dividing or summing up power flows in different rations by means of rotating rotor. Contact of members 6 with inner surface of housing 2 is provided over parts 21 and 22. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 4 dwg
