FIELD: sport engineering. SUBSTANCE: pole is tubular and made by winding. The pole has two fiber glass layers turns of which are wound butt. Between these two layers is the layer made up as turns of a perforated fiber glass bonded with an epoxy binder. The fibres of the fiber glass are preferably oriented along the pole. The thickness of the pole is variable. The profile of the wall is a curve of the second order calculated so to provide equal maximum strains at each point along the bent pole. This profile is made by winding profiled cloth. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 6 dwg
