FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: semiconductor hot-wire anemometer is used for measurement of flow rate of liquids and gases. It includes two thermally sensitive elements in the form of p-n junctions placed into adjacent arms of bridge circuit in forward direction. Heater of one of thermally sensitive elements is manufactured in the form of stabilizer diode with thermally stable junction placed in backward direction into vertex of feeding diagonal of bridge circuit at point of connection of thermally sensitive elements. This makes it possible to obtain dependence of informative current on flow rate but not in minus forth power as in known devices but in minus second power which ensures increase of measurement precision. EFFECT: increased measurement precision. 2 dwg
