FIELD: mechanical clocks. SUBSTANCE: pin of adjusting thermometer may rotate about its axis. It presses hair between its arms (at working position) not causing deviation of center of gravity of the hair from pay-out axis of balance, or it may release the hair if working length of the hair is adjusted. As a result, adjustment may be carried out without deformation of the hair. Reliable construction of thermometer is provided which results to reduction of isochronic error. Pin also has safety surfaces which prevents hair from passing from groove of pin, which groove is formed by arms of pin at working position. Pin is fixed onto governor by means of either apring jaws or may be clenched in such a manner that it coult rotate about its own axis.
