FIELD: brush tape for manufacturing brushes of different types used in electronic industry and in household. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has drum with core for forming pile coils , holder carrying spool with pile material and knife for cutting formed pile coils. Core is formed as rod fixed on drum in cantilevered relation and provided with longitudinal slot made on rod outer surface. Apparatus has spring-type member for uniform distribution of pile on tape. Spring-type member is mounted in longitudinal slot for rotation about its axis. Spool holder is mounted in guide for reciprocating along rod axis. Guide is fixed on drum. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 7 dwg
