FIELD: function generators. SUBSTANCE: device outputs value of sin x from x in range 0<x<0.7854. Approximation is calculated in limited range of x. This results in possibility to use simple function which is easy to implement. Device has dividing unit, amplifier with controlled gain, unit for calculation of square root of sum of constant and square of argument. EFFECT: simplified design, increased dynamic range, increased speed, low error of method (less than 0.17 %), low error of instrument which is not greater than error of method. 1 dwg
