METHOD FOR WITHDRAWAL AND LAYING DOWN CURBSTONE AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTING THE SAME Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: mechanized process to withdraw curbstones. SUBSTANCE: method for withdrawal and laying down curbstones includes curbstone withdrawal, restoring profile of the trench for laying down the curbstone, and digging new trench for curbstones using base machine. Road grader is used as the latter. Road grader breast is installed at 45 angle to the axis to dig the trench through double run to 80 - 100 mm depth. Then the trench is deepened to 200 mm. Curbstones are moved, trench profile is restored, and curbstones are withdrawn on turning radii with different positions of the road grader and its breast and lateral blade. Device for withdrawal and laying down curbstones has road grader as the base machine. Lateral blade has lower part elongated by 200 mm from cutting plane of the base blade. Weight-gripping jig is secured to one end of cantilever-strut. One end of the cantilever-strut is fastened to the breast. EFFECT: higher productivity. 5 cl, 8 dwg
