FIELD: decrease of fire hazard. SUBSTANCE: modifying additions taken from group involving sterically complicated phenols and bisphenols, naphthols, naphthylamines, phenothiazine and its chloro-derivatives, neozon D, diafen, p-hydroxyphenylamine (0.02-0.3 wt.-% as measured for dry residue) were added to parental enamel. Method is used for enamel based on alkyd (alkyd-acryl, pentaphthalic) paint and varnish materials to provide decrease tendency for self-heating and self-firing on technological equipment and, therefore, decrease fire hazard. EFFECT: addition provides absence of waste (depositions) self-firing. 1 tbl
