FIELD: production of lubricating materials. SUBSTANCE: stearic acid is used as reagent 1, monoethanol amine is used as reagent 2, cyanure chloride is used as reagent 3. Reaction is carried out in aqueous or organic mixture. It is followed by hydrolysis in the presence of acceptor of acid. Yield of desired product is about 85 %, its melting point is 58 C.
