HONEY EXTRACTOR Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: honey extractor has dual casings with axially aligned shafts rotating in opposite directions and reserve replaceable cassettes (about ten per each casing). It allows coaxial shafts to be operatively charged without stopping honey extraction process. Construction of extractor provides high-speed driving of honeycomb frames without reverse rotation since centrifugal forces act strictly in the plane of honeycomb foundation and in the direction of upper plank of each frame to improve honey pumping out. EFFECT: simplified construction, reduced metal usage, elimination of shaft beating and vibrations during honey pumping and enhanced reliability in operation. 20 cl, 14 dwg
