SUBSTANCE: method for treatment of hypertensive disease of ll stage offers objective quantitative biochemical criteria of individual selection of hypertensive monotherapy by calcium antagonists. Before and after two-week introduction of calcium antagonists, the level of insulinemia and index of β-adrenoractivity of cell membranes are determined and index of membrane stabilizing effect is calculated by the formula given in the invention description, and with its value ranging from 5 to 100 conventional units, the treatment is to be continued, and with the value above 100, the treatment is to be conducted with the use of other hypertensive preparations. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
