FIELD: separation of suspensions. SUBSTANCE: centrifuge consists of a body and incorporated therein perforated rotor on hollow shaft with nonrigid filtering barrier, and a drum mounted inside the rotor in a spaced relation to the latter, a circular chamber thus formed accommodating impermeable barrier. In the drum shell, two longitudinal windows are placed along drum generatrix and in diametrically opposite position to each other. Drum is provided with coaxially installed spring-loaded rod with rotatively attached links whose other ends are also rotatively connected with pull studs, which are pivotally installed inside the drum on a stationary axle and, together with links, pass through longitudinal windows into the circular chamber. Free ends of the pull studs are curve-shaped and have curved channels, and impermeable barrier consists of two radial gates free to displace on interaction with pull studs through pins placed in cuts of the latter. These cuts are long enough as to provide back drive of the gate to touch the rotor hub with its inner surface and touch filtering barrier with its outer side. Bottom and edge of rotor are provided from the inside with radial guides for gates made in the form of protrusions with channels. Arrangement may find use in various applications.
