SYSTEM OF "FINE" ADJUSTMENT OF BAND THICKNESS ON ROLLING MILL OF CONTINUOUS COLD ROLLING Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2065790 C1

FIELD: rolling production automatization, adjustment of band thickness on mill of continuous cold rolling in particular. SUBSTANCE: system of "fine" adjustment of band thickness on rolling mill of continuous cold rolling has rolling mill preliminarily adjustment block, outputs of which are connected with input of meter, that measures band thickness deviation from given value, that is mounted after last rolling mill housing, and with inputs of rolling mil housings pressing mechanisms position controls, and with inputs of rolling mill housings rolls driving motors rotation rate controls - through rolling mill speed modes control unit. Besides, the system has delay correction unit, integrator, first adder, rolling mill transfer coefficient correction unit, that are connected in series; second adder connected between output of rolling mill preliminary adjustment system, that is designated for control of last rolling mill housing rolls driving motor rotation rate, and corresponding input of rolling mill speed modes control system; limiting unit, insensibility zone unit and generator of last rolling mill housing rolls driving motor rotation rate, output of which is connected with other input of rolling mill transfer coefficient correction unit, output of which is connected with other input of second adder. System is additionally added with third adder, inertial link and adjustable delay unit. In the case output of meter, that measures band thickness deviation from given value, is connected with first input of third adder and with input of limiting unit, output of which is connected with second input of delay correction unit. Output of third adder is connected with input of insensibility zone unit, output of which is connected with second input of first adder and with input inertial link, output of which is connected with information input of controlled delay unit and the latter control input is connected to output of generator of last rolling mill housing rolls driving motor and input - to second input of third adder. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg
