FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: surface of a concrete part is covered with finishing layer containing (in wt %): liquid sodium glass, 29-32.4; sodium silicon-fluoride, 2.8-3.2; grained colored glass, 63-65; and finely ground ferro-chromium slag, 1.8-2.8. The layer is then superficially melt by means of electric arc progressively displaced with velocity 0.042-0.2 m/s. Simultaneously anode region of ark is affected by alternating magnetic field to provide reciprocal displacement of arc with velocity 0.5-100 m/s on the layer surface in direction perpendicular to that of progressive arc displacement. Distance from the arc to surface layer in cathode region is 1-150 mm, and that in anode region 1-35 mm. Finishing layer after pitting procedure has adhesion to concrete 0,83oC0,85 MPa and cold resistance 390-398 cycles with thickness of coating 1-1.21 mm. EFFECT: improved procedure. 2 dwg, 3 tbl
