FIELD: ZIGZAG mechanisms for sewing machines; applicable in household sewing machines. SUBSTANCE: ZIGZAG mechanism is mounted on sewing machine without significant changes of design to perform alongside with simple ZIGZAG, ZIGZAG stitch of various configuration. ZIGZAG mechanism has drive installed on the main shaft of the machine. Means for conversion of rotational motion of the shaft into reciprocation motion of lug is made in form of rocker and pusher kinematically connected with lug. Rocker has means for adjustment of mechanism and made for rotation round its axis secured to bar of machine lug holder, and means for smooth adjustment of stitching width and stitches is made in form of link mechanism.
