FIELD: mining, breaking rough block of stone. SUBSTANCE: perforated working member 3 is put into blast hole. Water is filled through opening 10 in accumulating chamber 2. Water in the blast hole is frozen using refrigerating agent circulating through passage 9. Ice pressure breaks the rock. Gasket 8 prevents ice flowing between working member 3 and blast hole wall. Compensator 5 filled with elastic compressible material 7 eliminates displacing effect of ice pressure being frozen below the device. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
