FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: powered support includes main sections related to base beam of the actuator through levers with built-in hydraulic jacks, and subsidiary sections installed between the base ones and advance hydraulic jacks related to them. The support is made as five-section blocks. Terminal main section of each block is coupled to terminal main section of adjacent block. The third main section is installed in the middle of the block between two subsidiary sections. The main sections are interrelated through rock burst and face couplings. Rock burst couplings are made in the form of alternating single- hinge and double-hinge members. Face couplings are made in the form of leaf springs with support members and protective shields. Support props provide directed motion of subsidiary sections, and protective shields provides safe conditions of operation and convenience for motion of personnel. The protective shields are placed in one plane with burst rock side of lower cantilever of the main section. Special eye are provided in the cantilever to secure leaf spring couplings and levers with built-in advance hydraulic jacks. EFFECT: high reliability. 5 dwg
