HOT-WATER BOILER Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: heating systems; domestic preparation of steam. SUBSTANCE: hot-water boiler consists of heat exchangers 1 and 2 with cylindrical shells 3; inner passage of shell 4 has form of Laval nozzle. Heat exchanger 2 is provided with fire tubes 5 fitted with turbolators. Gas circulating header 7 has cover 8, heat insulation 9, seal 10 and hot rings 11 in its bottom. Converging passage of Laval nozzle of shell 4 fitted with ribs 16 increases thermal and radiant pressures and removal of heat; shells 3 are provided with swirlers which enhance washing-off of external surfaces and perforators 18 reduce heating of hot rings 11. Fire tubes 5 fitted with turbolators 6 intensify thermal heat and reduce waste gas temperature. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
