FIELD: agricultural engineering; sugar beet harvesters. SUBSTANCE: self-propelled beet harvester has main frame 1 on which additional frame 6 is mounted for displacement in vertical plane by means of lifting mechanism. Additional frame has working members 7 and finder wheels 8. Rear link of additional frame is connected by two-link mechanism with frame 1. Front and rear links are made in form of flexible ties 4 connected with lifting mechanism. The latter has intercoupled double-arm levers 11 and 13 mounted on main frame 1, one of levers being spring-loaded. Harvester has additional two-link mechanism also connected with additional frame by means of longitudinal hinge joints. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 dwg
