FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: hothouse has frame, row of poles positioned longitudinally of frame and formed as rods or strips with rollers. Guides with carriage are positioned above and below frame. Vertical shaft with rotary panels is fixed on carriage. Containers with soil are positioned in tiers on panels. Removable transparent covering embraces containers along their perimeter. Longitudinal tubes with irrigation openings are positioned in upper part of container. Tray with discharge pipe is disposed below container bottom in inclined position. Heat-insulating linings are laid between covering and container surfaces. Vertical shaft may be made in the form of tube and soil containers may be positioned for rotation on tube. Frame with containers may be suspended to house or balcony wall or may be mounted on poles on floor. EFFECT: increased efficiency by effective usage of space and simplified construction. 11 cl, 17 dwg
