DEVICE FOR HOLE DRILLING AND INSTALLATION OF POLYMER WELL POINTS Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry and construction; applicable in drilling of thawing frozen rocks. SUBSTANCE: device for hole drilling and installation of polymer well points has mast with cross-bar and winch, vibration- rotation carriage with through spindle, hydraulic cartridges and power hydraulic cylinders, cross-piece with elevator, swivel with brake unit, extensible drilling toll. Drilling tool consists of outer barrel with crown bit and inner pipe with bushing. Hole is formed due to combined motion of outer barrel and inner pipe. Upon completion of hole formation, outer barrel with crown bit are left in hole, and inner pipe is withdrawn with bushing preliminarily disconnected from crown bit. After withdrawal of inner pipe with bushing, side hole in elevator lower part is freed and well point is introduced through this hole into hollow of outer barrel. Then, outer barrel with crown bit is withdrawn from the hole. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg, 1 tbl
