FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: kinetic energy accumulated by striker 7 is transmitted to the nut of a threaded joint by impact through intermediate members 9, working cams 5, and anvil 4 with the working head. After the impact the nut of a threaded joint rotates by an angle and stops. In so doing anvil 4 and striker 7 also stop. Centrifugal forces fail to act. Spring 19 returns rod 10 to the initial position. Balls 22 are received in radial openings in rod 10. Intermediate members 9 are in the initial position in striker 9. Plunger 25 with servo member 26 are also in the initial position in striker 7. New cycle of acceleration is then started. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 10 dwg
