FIELD: mine rail transport; draw-and-buffing gears. SUBSTANCE: with rail mine cars encounting, hook 4 acts on shackle 6 and lifts pivot 5. After passage of catch of hook 4, shackle 6 lowers together with pivot 5, thus coupling mine cars. To uncouple mine cars lift pivot 5 with shackle 6 to let catch of hook 4 come out of engagement with shackle 6. For buffing operation pivot 6 should be replaced from step 3 to step 2. Hook 4 will push adjacent mine car without coupling. Resilient hook 4 provides damping of shock loads. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities and enhanced reliability of coupling. 2 cl, 3 dwg
