FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mounted on furnace stand inside stack of rolls is convector made of two coaxial cylinders: outer cylinder 1 and inner cylinder 2 located at spaced relation. Cylinders 1 and 2 are mounted for axial displacement relative to each other and are provided with locking devices 4. Lateral surfaces of cylinders 1 and 2 are provided with slots 5 and 6 located over helical lines. Passed through slot 5, clearance 3 and slot 6 is tail-piece 7 of section 8 of spiral fins. Working part 9 is secured to tail-piece at one end and retainer 10 is secured at other end. Retainer 10 is used for holding sections 8 in convector. Retainer 10 is located in inner chamber 11 of cylinder. Bottom 15 of outer cylinder 1 has holes 14 through which uprights 13 of cylinder 2 are passed. Uprights 13 are free to move vertically in holes 14. Uprights 13 are rigidly secured on inner cylinder 2 forming clearance between bottom of outer cylinder 1 and stand 12.
