SOW AND PIGS STALL Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: stall has sow keeping section with front, side and rear walls and pig boxes extending in parallel with sow keeping section. Rear wall is provided with door. Dosing feeder and whatever are positioned adjacent to front wall opposite sow keeping section. Pig rest and heating box is positioned opposite each pig box. Door of each sow section is provided with restrictor positioned at an angle to door. Arced retainers are mounted on upper parts of side walls for retaining sow body from top. Lower side retainers are positioned at an angle of 8-13 deg with respect to floor, which is provided with perforations of different size and is made from materials having different heat capacity. Slurry channel and extract ventilation channel are positioned below floor. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved sow and pig keeping conditions. 2 cl, 1 dwg
