SUBSTANCE: method involves separately weighing heart portions to determine absolute weight characteristics like right and left atrium, free wall of left ventricle (L), free wall of right ventricle (R), left ventricle mass and right ventricle mass, interventricular partition, whole heart mass, relative weight characteristics describing separate heart part mass states like right ventricle index, left ventricle index, heart mass to left ventricle mass ratio, ventricle index as right ventricle mass to left ventricle mass ratio, Fulton index as mass ratio of free wall of left ventricle summed with interventricular partition to mass of free wall of right ventricle. Ventricular index (VI) determining right atrium to left atrium mass ratio, left ventricle - left atrium index (LVLAI), right ventricle - right atrium index (RVRAI) are proposed as being the most reach in information to determine developing intrauterine hypertrophy and characteristics of changed relations between the fetal and newborn heart parts in the cases of pathologic pregnancy. VI being equal to 1.84, LVLAI=7.07, RVRAI= 5.24, morphologic functional state is estimated as being within normal value limits. VI being greater than 1.85, LVLAI>7.08, RVRAI<5.23, changes in heart state show developing intrauterine hypertrophy of heart parts, namely, right atrium and left ventricle.
