FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: lock has arresting member secured to the wall or floor near a door. The arresting member comprises locking member mounted for permitting rotation about the axle. The locking member is made up as a double-arm lever. One of the arms of the lever can be in a contact with the door. The second arm is mounted for permitting abutting against the walls. The locking member can be mounted at the top and bottom portions of the door or at the top or at the bottom portions of the door. The drive of the top locking member has a unit with a cord tie mounted on the axle of the locking member for permitting rotation of the axle. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 7 cl, 4 dwg
