FIELD: shooting from firearm for underwater hunting. SUBSTANCE: a blind cavity is made on the rear end of the harpoon to receive the primer with a powder charge, and through holes are provided, which at placing of the harpoon in the barrel communicate the harpoon cavity with the environment. The L-shaped spring-loaded hammer is positioned in the body through hole for translational motion and has a boss for engagement with the line tripper. One end of the line is fastened to the body, and the other - to the harpoon bush. When the trigger is pressed, the sear releases the hammer, which through the striker strikes the primer. The powder charge gets ignited and burns in a small volume, since the harpoon cavity is filled with water and its outflow velocity through the holes is inconsiderable. Growth of pressure of powder gases initiates motion of the harpoon and throwing of it from the barrel at a high velocity. EFFECT: improved design. 4 cl, 1 dwg
