FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: transformer converter is designed for conversion of linear translations into electric signals. It incorporates cylindrical form 1 of dielectric material, excitation winding 3 evenly distributed over its length and 20 sections of measurement winding 4. Sections are so manufactured that they can change number of turns and polarity of each of them and are divided into two groups. Sections of one group are connected in series aiding and in series opposition to sections of the other group. Numbers of turns in sections lie within specified relation. Average diameter of measurement winding, pitch of section arrangement, diameter and length of core 2 are tied up by mentioned relations. EFFECT: enhanced functional characteristics. 2 cl, 4 dwg
