FIELD: ammunition. SUBSTANCE: invention deals with investigation of propelling capability of various explosives, of influence of initiation method, of displacement of initiation point, of body and of angle of arrival of detonation wave. Method involves multiple X-ray-pulse photographing of process of movement of metal round plate propelled by products of blast from butt of charge with simultaneous propelling of a set of concentric rings mounted around plate by charge butt. First static photograph of plate, rings and reference marks is taken on film, then reference marks are removed before blast of charge. Dynamic photograph is taken by means of same film. Method provides for arrangement of base conical reference marks along axis of charge. EFFECT: improved reliability of method. 2 cl, 2 dwg
