FIELD: drilling equipment. SUBSTANCE: universal drilling rig includes running gear, automatic feed unit, drilling head installed on the plate and drilling rod connected with spindle of drilling head by means of shank. Rod is connected with shank by means of stop unit made in form of stop bushing with axial stepped channel for accommodation of rod and one of the ends of shank. Stop bushing has three radial channels one of which accommodates stop screw for engagement with rod, two other diametrically opposite radial channels accommodated two ball retainers held from displacement by sunk screw plugs. Shank has external recesses engageable with ball retainers and drilling head is installed on feed unit plate by means of mounting spacer. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 dwg
