FIELD: drum-type washing and washing-squeezing machines. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing cloths in rotating perforated drum having side surface formed as truncated cone; providing mechanical action upon cloths by periodically supplying washing solution and periodically squeezing cloths. Time during which supplying of washing solution is stopped exceeds time during which most of moisture is removed from cloths. Solution is supplied by pump or by centrifugal force created by rotation of drum. Flexible enclosure filled with liquid or bulk material may be placed at location adjacent to inner layer of cloths.
