FIELD: folding metal bridges. SUBSTANCE: bridge unit has two sections of load-bearing girders placed on motor truck platform and made laterally of two half-girders connected by longitudinal hinges with roadway plate for their possible turning to 90 deg. and fixing. Bridge unit is longitudinally folding, and roadway plate is assembled of sections which in travel position are placed one upon other. Sections and forecastles at one end of unit are connected by lateral hinges, and at other end they have slot for ridge of truck platform which is provided with guide grooves for roller mounted in brackets fixed on sides of lower angles of forecastles. There are tipping down sideboards with segments of guide grooves and limiters. Tipping down sideboards at edges of front part are provided with pulleys, and on outer sides they have fixable turning struts. Located on forecastles are frames, pulleys, bifurcated and single eye-lugs and locking devices with warm-gear actuator of locks. Made in other end are holes which contain axles with lugs of rods of double-action hydraulic shock absorbers. Located in lower parts of forecastles are semiautomatic butt joints. Attached to upper bands are ridge strips. Each semiautomatic joint has gear, bifurcated and single eye- lugs, pintle, working and release springs, toothed rack located on lower band of forecastle and sleeve seated with its two radial holes over guide members and cooperated with threaded rod which is seated in splines of gear axial hole.
