FIELD: mining industry; borehole drilling with downhole pulse generators. SUBSTANCE: downhole pulsator has cylindrical hollow body which at side of its outlet end contains a limiter in the form of grate with side holes and central flat for rolling of ball located on it. Central flat protrudes above grate surface. Installed above ball at clearance is disk with spherically concave inner surface and side hole. Radius of spherical surface of disk is equal to ball diameter, and diameter of disk side hole is equal to ball radius. Due to these design features, adherence of ball to grate by suction is prevented and axial force is created which periodically acts on end of drill string. This improves reliability of pulsator operation and transmits larger thrust to drill bit in horizontal and inclined boreholes due to overcoming of friction force existing between drill string and borehole wall.
