FIELD: wood protection. SUBSTANCE: wood is treated with oil antiseptic, which is a mixture of (i) still residue from benzene alkylation product rectification with kinematic viscosity 1.8-4 sq.mm/s at 50 C and (ii) petroleum diluent with kinematic viscosity 6-8 sq.mm/s at 50 C at weight ratio 70: 30, or a mixture of the two with petroleum hydrocarbon pyrolysis product with kinematic viscosity 15-22 sq.mm/s at 50 C at weight ratio (60-90):(5-20):(5-30), respectively. Wood is impregnated with antiseptic at 70-80 C and pressure 0.8 MPa for 0.5-3 h. Impregnation completed, wood is evacuated under residual pressure 0.085 MPa for 20 min. EFFECT: provided full impregnation of wood (for sapwood). 2 tbl
