FIELD: production of rolled cold-bent sheet profiles with periodically positioned corrugations, used in crane truck telescope booms. SUBSTANCE: high-rigidity corrugated profile is made from steel with yield limit σy = 265 - 500 MPa. Bent profile has closed transverse corrugations and flanges of height equal to profile thickness. Corrugations have rounded portions adjacent to their bases and apexes. Rounded portions have equal radii of cross and longitudinal sections. Main geometric parameters of profile are determined by following ratios: L : B = 7 - 8, •10-3 = (1.2-1.5) , where l, B and H are corrugation length, width and height, respectively; L is axis spacing.
