FIELD: space engineering. SUBSTANCE: method consists in withdrawal of parachute from container by imparting preset velocity to structural members relative to re-entry vehicle along its longitudinal axis due to force of separation system; preset velocity is imparted to structural members of parachute by motion of container relative to re-entry space vehicle; magnitude of force of separation system acting on parachute container is found from relationship given in Description.
