SUBSTANCE: rail butt joint has rail fishplates 3 and flexible pins 4 passed through coaxial holes in webs of rails 1 and fishplates 3 and fixed by wedge 5. Pins 4 are installed in pairs in coaxial holes. Each pin 4 is made two-legged with legs oriented in cross vertical plane. Ends of legs skew-symmetrically arranged relative to vertical are connected by bridges. EFFECT: improved quality of joint. 7 dwg
