FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: cylindrical compression spring has ring flexible embers mounted one above the other. Each spring has at least two radially directed high corrugation and low corrugation between them. The tops of the high corrugations of one of the ring flexible member are received in the hollows of the low corrugations of the adjacent member. Each ring flexible member is made of a rod of rectangular cross-section. The butt-joint of ends of the rod of each ring flexible member is in the middle of the high corrugation and lies in the plane that passes through the axis of the spring. The butt-joints of the adjacent ring flexible members are uniformly shifted with respect to each other over periphery. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 dwg
