FIELD: radio detection and ranging. SUBSTANCE: radar accomplishes well-defined measurement of distance to a target at a high radiation frequency of pulse oscillator. The radar uses a counter, decoder, four inverters, four coincidence elements, three delay lines and a distance transducer; the synchronizer output is connected to the first input of the first coincidence element and, via the first inverter, - to the first input of the second coincidence element; the synchronizer output via the series - connected counter, decoder and second inverter is also connected to the second input of the first coincidence element, whose output is connected to the input of the pulse transmitter; the decoder output via the first delay line is connected to the first input of the distance transducer, whose output is connected to the third input of the indicator; the second input of the distance transducer is connected to the output of the second coincidence element; the second input of the third coincidence element is connected to the output of the fourth coincidence element, whose first input is connected to the output of the receiver, which is also connected to the input of the third delay line, whose output is connected to the second input of the second coincidence element and to the input of the third inverter, whose output is connected to the second input of the fourth coincidence element; the receiver output via the fourth inverter is connected to the third input of the second coincidence element.
