FIELD: computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has hollow housing 2 and writing pivot 1, which has pressure detector 6 at its end. Inertia member is designed as metal ring 4, which is mounted either loosely or on plate which is made from insulation material and is located inside hollow housing 2 non-parallel to its longitudinal axis. Metal ring may also be mounted on ring plate 3, which is made from insulation material and is freely hung inside hollow housing 2 on two pins 12. Metal ring 4 serves as switch of inertia detector contacts 5. Contacts 5 and 6 are connected to computer through communication line which may be designed as radio line. Outer surface of hollow housing 2 is equipped with charging contacts of accumulator 9. Said charging contacts are connected to charging contacts of charging unit when device is inserted into holder which is located on housing of computer. EFFECT: design of inertia member provides continuous monitoring of device position during writing or drawing. 5 cl, 4 dwg
