FIELD: automation and computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: plane of one receiving inductance coil of magnetic field detector is located in orthogonal to axis of coordinate detector. Vector of magnetic induction is rotated in horizontal and vertical planes of working space in alternating order. Maximal values of amplitudes of generalized information signals are read from three receiving inductance coils. Angles of magnetic inductance vector rotation for these maximal values are stored and used for excitation of final magnetic field with corresponding coordinate axis constituents of magnetic inductance vector with respect to frame reference point. Amplitudes of signals which are induced in receiving inductance coils are measured. coordinates of detected point are calculated using correction to rotation angles of axes of coordinate detector. EFFECT: increased precision. 5 dwg, 1 tbl
