FIELD: electric engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves measurement of bias voltage of neutral line and linear voltage in one phase, synchronous detection by two orthogonal reference signals, filtration of results of synchronous detection and control of compensation of resistance and capacitance constituents. First operation of synchronous detection involves setting phase of reference signal equal to phase of electromotive force between short circuit point to earth and neutral wire. Result is used for compensation of resistance constituent. Second operation of synchronous detection involves use of neutral bias voltage for control of compensation of capacitance constituent. EFFECT: increased precision of automatic control, improved dynamic characteristics. 5 dwg
