FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: fastening unit has junction plate made angular in plan and manufactured from plated metal diagonal strut with strips defined by bent edges. Strips are inclined one with respect to the other at an angle of α and rest upon table carcass bars through intermediate metal linings welded to bars. Continuous openings for receiving fastening members are made in strips and bars. Fastening members may be formed as bolts. Linings are provided with threaded openings for screwing of fastening members and attachment of strips to bars by fastening members. Diagonal strut has opening made in its middle part and adapted for loose passage of fastening member formed as bolt, whose end is inserted through table leg opening and is screwed into lining positioned in leg cavity. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
